Our physicians and CRNAs provide quality anesthesia services care for more than 70,000 patients undergoing surgery, labor & delivery, pain management or diagnostic procedures each year. Our staff is the exclusive provider of anesthesia and pain management services at all of the Inova Fairfax facilities: INOVA Fairfax Hospital, INOVA Hospital for Children, INOVA Surgery Center, and the INOVA Heart Center. We employ more than 60 board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists, who are all also medical doctors, and more than 70 CRNAs. Fairfax Anesthesiology Associates is involved in your care beginning with the pre-surgical evaluation, and continuing throughout surgery and post anesthesia recovery. Our physicians provide comprehensive pain management following your surgical procedure when requested by the surgeon.
We also provide pediatric and adult services for anesthesia procedures outside of the operating suite, which includes gastroenterology procedures, MRI scans, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, electrophysiology procedures and pain management evaluation and treatment.
